Title: In My Own Keep, It Followed For My Weep
Date: 2003.01.16
Comment: This was during my LOTR days. "Someone by the name of Sam", I meant Samwise Gamgee of course! While putting up this poem, I noticed that any "I" that wasnt at the start of a line wasn't capitalized. And I dont forget to capitalize that. So I figure I should leave it that way.
---------------
Attacking my most guarded self
I laid away, asleep
Over the mountains and over to somewhere else
Retreating backward into myself
_______Into vines and valleys
_______Somewhere where you couldnt find me
_______Crouching close to my knees
_______Into the lore i loved, running
By the water my bed lay
Stroking the pool with my long dismays
The darkness followed me in this way
_______Drowning my fingers in my own
Choking and crying, you made it known
I was the one always alone
Back into the flower valleys i ran
Hoping for someone, someone by the name of Sam
Longing for my loneliness from them
In the pillows i hide, by the hem
_______Soft and comfortable i slept away
_______Peaceful, not happy, there i lay
_______Only hoping what would come
_______Not a clear future would it run
So i laid away
Stroking the pool with long dismay
